Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy of early childhood education and adapted to our Australian and Ignatian way of living and learning. The Reggio Emilia approach to early learning is seen as world best practice.

Our teachers aim to develop the child’s natural curiosity, imagination and creativity through play and exploration. We educate for the formation of the whole person spirituality, socially, culturally, academically, physically and intellectually to become spiritually alive and filled with a lifelong love of learning.

At Ignatius Early Years, we aim to create a warm caring and secure environment where children grow in confidence, self-esteem and respect for each other and their world. Extensive thought has gone into both the indoor and outdoor learning settings with the child’s perspective in the forefront of our minds.

We encourage children to remain open to new ideas and others thinking. As educators, we recognize children are individuals, possessing a variety of experiences, knowledge and talents. Our aim is to facilitate each child’s unique learning potential.

Ignatius Early Years is an approved early learning and care centre which means that it is possible for families to access the Child Care Subsidy making care more affordable.

Please note: The College's CRICOS licence caters for students in Years 8-12 only.
