Students caged-in to acknowledge plight of refugees
Jun 21, 2019
In acknowledgement of Refugee Week, a group of Year 12 students spent a very cold winter's night in The Cage from Thursday 20 to Friday 21 June. The Cage is an experience where students commit to spending 24 hours in a ‘cage’ without food or technology, to show their commitment and support for refugees. Students listened to guest speakers from Hopes Café and St Vincent de Paul Refugee Assistance Centre, participated in a liturgy and reflected on our privilege living in a country free from terror and violence.
