2020 Term 1 Week 4

2020 Term 1 Week 4

P&F - From the President

Dear Parents & Caregivers

Next Monday, 24 February at 7.00pm in the Junior School Hall, we will be hosting an information and introduction night for the Parent Reps for all year levels. Please join us to learn more about this integral role. Volunteer packs and information kits will be handed out on the night. I extend an invitation to all parents to come along and have a chat to the committee members to hear about the events the Parents and Friends Committee will be hosting in 2020. We have an exciting year ahead.

House Athletics Carnival is not too far away - Thursday, 5 March. As always, the Parents and Friends Committee will have a bake stall and a coffee van. Volunteers are needed to help out for 20–30 minutes at the bake stall on the day. Donations of sweet or savoury baked goods are welcome. Please email me with details on what assistance you can provide. Volunteer forms will be distributed shortly.

An initiative from Drake Supermarkets is the concept of Drake Dollars. At a couple of local Drake Supermarkets there will soon be some key tags with a barcode associated to the Parents and Friends Committee. For anyone who shops at Drakes, they can scan the barcode when at the check out and the Committee will accumulate credit to be able to be spent later on purchasing items from Drakes for our various events - ultimately bringing our costs down. Once we identify which stores will be holding our tags, we’ll let you know on how you can help with.

Thank you
