2018 Term 4 Week 3

2018 Term 4 Week 3

From the Parents & Friends

Melbourne Cup is fast approaching and on behalf of the Parents and Friends Committee, I encourage you to take the opportunity to purchase the last tickets remaining for the Saint Ignatius’ Melbourne Cup luncheon at Hula Hoop, Kensington Gardens.

Last year the event was 'sold out' so be quick to snap up your ticket to avoid disappointment. It will be an enjoyable afternoon with a glass of complimentary Pol Roger champagne to begin, followed by a delicious three course lunch, accompanied by a fashion parade. There will also be sweepstakes and a raffle on the day.

Keep in mind that Out of School Hours Care will kindly provide an hour of free care to make sure you see the race that stops the nation. Contact OSHC directly on 8130 7113 to confirm your place.

If you're unable to make it to the lunch, you can buy raffle tickets with amazing prizes from volunteers who will be selling tickets at the Junior and Senior School and there are raffle books at Reception at both campuses.

P&F Annual General Meeting
All families are invited to attend the Parents and Friends AGM on Wednesday 14 November to celebrate the success of friend and fund raising events over 2018. If you feel you would like to know more about what the P&F do, please contact the committee directly on pandf@ignatius.sa.edu.au. New members are always welcome and it is a great way to not only meet new families from all aspects of the College, but also make a difference in the lives of all current and future students.
