From the Parents and Friends
Dear Parents and Caregivers
The Parents and Friends Committee would like to thank all the teachers and staff at the College for all their dedication and hard work ensuring the wellbeing of all our children. The communications and direction from the College has been wonderful and very important in bringing across their message with an emphasis on ensuring a sense of calm.
We all know how difficult these times are for the community in general and we as a committee are here to offer any support or assistance we can.
We know there’ll be no coordinated events or gatherings organised by Parent Reps or the Committee in general, which means that we will need to ensure we engage in other ways. Social distancing doesn’t mean we need to cut ourselves off completely from each other.
At the last committee meeting a couple of weeks ago, there was discussion around expanding the year level closed groups on Facebook. There is some work to do to ensure it is moderated correctly, but we will shortly be looking to our Parent Reps to help in this and other initiatives.
Stay safe and please reach out if there is anything you need
