2020 Term 3 Week 5

2020 Term 3 Week 5

From the Parents and Friends

Food Truck at Senior School Sport

On Saturday 29 August, The Parents and Friends Committee will team up with The Fat Fork Food Truck to provide coffees, breakfast and lunch options at the Senior School during the sports programme.

We will be placed in front of the Dennett Centre at the foot of the netball courts for the morning and moving down to the Bourke Oval (football) just before lunch.

We will also be selling the Fifth Term campaign beanies for the Foundation Board on the day. Perfect to keep you warm while watching the sport.

So come and support the Parents and Friends Committee, warm up with a nice hot drink, grab a beanie and get something to eat. We have you covered perfectly for winter sports.

Kiss and Ride Volunteers

Don’t forget, you can still volunteer to help with the Junior School Kiss and Ride system. The roster has been created for Parents/Caregivers to assist. If you’re able to help out any afternoon, please feel free to submit your details on the google document found HERE.

All we require is two volunteers per afternoon. Please feel free to roster yourself with someone, or fill in on an afternoon which may only have one person rostered.

Thank you

Meet the Parent Reps:

Fiona Atkinson

I’m Fiona - mum to William (Reception Blue) and Charlotte (IEY Green Room). My husband James and I were excited to join the Ignatian family when William started at IEY in 2018.

Being a parent representative is important to me as a way to connect with the school community and be involved, as well as meet other parents. I also really enjoy reading in class when possible and spending the occasional day in the Junior School Tuckshop.

I work a busy part time job as an Office Manager for Sony Interactive Entertainment and in my spare time I like reading, baking and drinking all the almond milk lattes.

Please come and say hi if we don’t know each other. I can be shy - I’m a country girl at heart - but I’m friendly!
