2019 Term 2 Week 8

2019 Term 2 Week 8

From the Head of Senior School

Our students in Years Ten and Eleven have now completed their end-of-Semester One examinations, and I take this opportunity to thank the staff for the wonderful organisation of this major event.

Next week all Year Eleven students will be involved in four days of service in their community, and we have placements at nursing homes, childcare centres, the Salvation Army, Meals on Wheels, and St Patrick’s Special School, to name a few. This is always a very special time for our students as they support the lives of others in need: a truly life-changing experience for all involved!

Please take note of some upcoming events at the Senior School during Week 9:

Year 11 Caroline Chisholm Community Service Program – Monday 24 June to Thursday 27 June

Year 10 Work Placement – Tuesday 25 June to Thursday 27 June

Year 9 Wellbeing Days – Tuesday 25 June and Wednesday 26 June

Year 12 class and individual photographs – Thursday 27 June

Year 9 Boys and Year 9 Girls Gender Education Program – Thursday 27 June and Friday 28 June

Year 11 Day of Reflection, Bellarmine Room and Chapel of the Holy Name – Friday 28 June

Thank you, Lord, for your love and blessings to me. Make of me what I can be.

Mr Phil Donato
Head of Senior School
