From the Head of Senior School
We take time to familiarise ourselves with new routines at the start of a school year, which is always both challenging and exciting. At the opening College Mass of the Holy Spirit, we prayed for our students to open their hearts, be aware of the Holy Spirit around them during their everyday lives, and be moved to do good for others.
I would especially like to thank the College House Captains for their incredible effort in rallying their teams at the recent House swimming carnival. The House spirit demonstrated by all students was infectious on the day. We congratulate the Xavier team as back-to-back winners of the carnival, and the Kostka team as winners of the Spirit Cup. Our thanks also go to the staff in the Sports Office, led by Ms Miriam Doyle, for their meticulous planning of such an enjoyable day.
This weekend, we commence our summer sports program, and I hope to see you at a venue over the next few weeks.
