Foundation Beanie - Building the Bursary
At the annual Foundation Breakfast in August 2019, the College’s Foundation Board launched ‘The 5th Term’ campaign and showed how, with the purchase of a beanie, the Ignatian community can help build the College’s Bursary Program.
The 5th Term is a concept to be imagined. An additional school term that only exists in our dreams and in our hopes of giving the opportunity of a Jesuit education to a child who could not otherwise afford it.
In reality there is no fifth school term that we are required to fund for our own children, but in our thoughts, we can see our contribution to this fifth term (whatever that might be) as a contribution to another child - a child that receives a bursary from the Saint Ignatius’ College Foundation.
Beanies are $30 each and can be purchased at the Uniform Shop, Senior School Student Services or Junior School Reception. All proceeds support the Bursary Program. Limited stock available.
CURRENT STUDENTS - PLEASE NOTE
The beanies are not part of the formal school uniform and must not be worn with the winter or summer uniform. It may be worn for co-curricular trainings before or after school, but not during the school day. It may of course, be worn with casual attire at all times.
