2019 Term 3 Week 2
From the Principal
Unsurprisingly, our focus this week has been largely on our Patronal Feast Day on Wednesday. Even before Wednesday though, there were significant celebrations at Norwood on Sunday as part of the 150th anniversary of the parish. In the shadow of Ignatius’ feast day, the Provincial, Fr Brian McCoy, celebrated mass at 10.00am. This was followed by a lunch for around 250 parishioners on the ground... read more
From the Rector
Last Wednesday, 31 July, the whole College gathered in the parish church at Norwood to celebrate the feast day of Saint Ignatius Loyola (image below). Over 1,400 students from IEY to Year 12 and 250 staff were packed into the church and hall. They participated in a variety of classroom activities, including playing Simon Says in Chinese,... read more

This has the potential be an intimidating and daunting experience for some of our students as they often feel a perceived pressure to map out their career... read more
