From the Principal
As we commence Semester 2, I offer a very warm welcome to our returning students as well as the 41 new students who have started their educational journey with us. Most of our new students are in the two Reception midyear classes, with others joining at different year levels throughout the College. It is my great hope and prayer that these students and their families will find us to be a warm and welcoming... read more
From the Rector
Fifty years ago, at about 10.30am on 20 July, I was in Rooms 1 and 2 of the classroom block (now classroom 7.1 and the IT room). A few days earlier, three astronauts had set off for the moon. Early that morning,... read more
From the Head of Senior School
I join with others and welcome you all to Term 3. I hope that families made the most of the midyear break, and I can confidently say that our students have started the second half of the year with great enthusiasm. My sincere thanks go to all the students and staff who have participated in the various JACSA and Jesuit carnivals over the holidays. Our prayers are also with the students and staff currently... read more

Recently free to air television aired the documentary ‘The Final Quarter’, the story of the final three years of champion AFL indigenous footballer Adam Goodes. The documentary was built around the premise that ongoing poor crowd behaviour towards Goodes was racially motivated. For me, it was a confronting film, that in many ways highlighted the good and bad of Australian society. What I... read more

Positive Parenting School TV Despite the best efforts of parents around the world, the reality is, there is no such thing as the ‘perfect parent’, however arming yourself with quality evidence-based information is a good start. This event brought to fruition the vision laid out by US President John F Kennedy who, in 1962, informed the American public that by the end of the decade NASA would put a man on the Moon. To commemorate this event our senior school library has arranged a display of various... read more
