2019 Term 1 Week 3
From the Principal
Last Saturday morning, the Senior School hosted ACER scholarship testing for families applying for academic scholarships in 2020. There were over 120 students in attendance, with the vast majority of these being external applicants. The nervous energy in the air was almost palpable and, despite my best efforts to reassure those attempting the testing that they could only do their best, I think it might... read more
From the Rector
In good times, we find it easier to be courteous and show virtue, but difficult situations require a deeper mettle. Deprivation and threat can make good people fail to exercise compassion and care. I recently saw an account of archaeologists unearthing the remains of the Batavia shipwreck. These days, there is a group trying to find the wreck of Shackleton’s ship the Endurance. Ignatian Ethos
Your child may be coming home and telling you about the Examen. For those who are new to the College, don’t worry this is not any type of exam we give students every week; it is a way of praying. I would especially like to... read more

From the Head of Junior School
This Monday Class Six Blue spoke of what leadership meant to them. Supporting a friend in need, helping out at home or in the class, caring for others, and standing up for what is right were among those answers offered by the children − all reasons that would make you proud to be their parents.
