2019 Term 1 Week 2

2019 Term 1 Week 2
From the Principal
I hope that by now all in our community have had an opportunity to look at our new strategic plan for the next five years – if only briefly. I would like to think that our five key priorities: - Care of Students - Human Excellence - Faith in Practice - Ignatian Ethos - Stewardship and Sustainability say much about the community that we are striving to be. Related to this and in a broader context,... read more

Five hundred years ago in 1519, five ships and 270 men left Spain on a mission to find a route to the Moluccas via the Americas under the command of Ferdinand Magellan from Portugal. The journey lasted a fortnight shy of three years. Only one of the five ships, the Victoria, and 19 men, made the whole journey eventually led by Spanish navigator, Juan Sebastian Elcano. En route, there were mutinies.... read more
Ignatian Ethos
Welcome to all those who are new to our community in 2019 and welcome back to all those who are continuing their journey. Our Ignatian Ethos underpins all we do at Saint Ignatius’ College and importantly how we do it. More than wishing our... read more
