2018 Term 3 Week 7
From the Principal
Last weekend our winter sporting seasons came to a close with the annual Intercol competition with Mercedes College. A full report is presented elsewhere in this Ignatian, but I did want to congratulate all involved in the work to support this activity. Mercedes were generous hosts this year, and I thought that all in our community ‒ students, parents and caregivers, Old Ignatians, and friends... read more

When we communicate, there can be a gap between our intention and the impact. The fact that we have two ears and one mouth reminds us that we should listen twice as much as we speak. We know we need to think before we speak. The acronym THINK provides a helpful checklist – is it Thoughtful, Helpful, Inspiring, Necessary, and Kind? The Latin phrase quidquid recipitur ad modum recipientis recipitur... read more

Thank you to the children in Two Blue who arranged a moving liturgy on the importance of Father’s Day for all dads,... read more

Ignatius Early Years News
Last week at Ignatius Early Years we celebrated our fathers with stories about fathers and having a go at drawing and painting pictures of our dads. The children stopped to think about what they loved and appreciated about their dads. On Wednesday and Thursday morning we invited the dads to come and play with their child or children. It was a lot of fun! Eve and Dad. Henry and Dad. Zali and Dad. Adele... read more
