Homepage Learning & Teaching Co-Curricular High Performance Program Launched in 2024, the High Performance Athlete Program provides an integrated approach to advancing the performance of athletes through physical and psychological training and injury prevention strategies, whilst also providing holistic support for wellbeing tracking and academic achievement. The program is celebrated for its individualised and evidence-based approach to developing the elite athletes in our community. A tiered approach facilitates the delivery of foundational physical literacy and athletic development to all students through to tailored training, workshops and mentoring for our Firsts teams and selected elite athletes. We are incredibly proud of our athletes, of which the elite group in this program compete in state, national and international events across 13 different sports and who have aspirations for national, international or career success in their chosen pursuits. While filming an episode of Saint Ignatius' College's official podcast, Ignatius Talking in 2025, High Performance athlete Cleo Gadaleta (then in Year 12), shared her experiences in the program.
