The High Performance Athlete Program provides an integrated approach to advancing the performance of athletes through physical and psychological training and injury prevention strategies, whilst also providing holistic support for wellbeing tracking and academic achievement.

A tiered approach facilitates the delivery of foundational physical literacy and athletic development to all students through to tailored training, workshops and mentoring for our Firsts teams and selected elite athletes.

Launched in 2024 with workshops facilitated by AFL Premiership player, Heath Shaw, the program is being celebrated for its individualised and evidence-based approach to developing the elite athletes in our community.

We are incredibly proud of our athletes, of which the elite group in this program compete in state, national and international events across 13 different sports and who have aspirations for national, international or career success in their chosen pursuits.
