Master Plan

It brings us great pride to release our new Master Plan: Renewal for the Future, in our College's 75th year.

This vision places intentional focus on the renewal of all three of our campuses at Norwood and Athelstone. Guided by Saint Ignatius’ call to “live with one foot raised,” we are preparing boldly for our increased enrolment demand, emerging needs, and the opportunities that lie ahead. Our Master Plan imagines a learning environment that is adaptable, forward‑looking, and designed to support our extraordinary educational culture for decades to come.

We stand on the shoulders of the remarkable people who have come before us. For 75 years, loyal and dedicated staff, students, families, and leaders, have built on the foundation we now have the privilege to strengthen. Our Old Ignatians who go out into the world and achieve extraordinary things continue to inspire us daily. This Master Plan honours them, and the legacy they have helped shape.

Ignatians have never shied away from high aspirations and in our 75th year, we are dreaming more boldly than ever. Awakened to new possibilities and grounded firmly in our identity, we envision an Ignatius of the future with exceptional facilities that elevate every student’s experience and open doors to unparalleled opportunities. We have already begun dreaming of twenty-five years from now, and we are laying the foundations today for the school we aspire to be when we celebrate 100 years.

Through education, we empower our students to make the world brighter. This Master Plan strengthens that mission, ensuring every Ignatian is supported to step confidently into the world and, in the spirit of the words of St Ignatius, go forth and set the world alight.
