From the OSHC Director
The Pupil Free Day for Friday 21 June is fast approaching and OSHC will offer care from 7.30am–6.00pm on this day. Planned activities include a Robotics workshop which will be held on College grounds and run by STEM KIDS. The usual OSHC craft, cooking and outdoor activities will also occur.
You must book in by filling out the consent form and returning it to an OSHC educator with full payment by Friday 14 June. Any bookings made after this date may not be possible. Any bookings made after Friday 14 June will incur a late booking fee of $20.00
The July vacation care program is out now! Bookings are only taken strictly with payment and forms. Copies are available at the OSHC desk or via the link provided in the Ignatian.
Please be aware that bookings are only taken with full payment of $70.00 per child (childcare subsidy applies) and that all Pupil Free days and Vacation Care days are a non-refundable day, unless your child is sick and a doctor’s certificate is provided.
It is a good idea to keep an eye on your child care subsidy and check in on your family income estimate. Make sure it is up to date and reflects your and your partner’s income for the whole financial year. If your estimate is lower than your actual income, you may get a debt, which you will have to pay back. In some cases, the CCS may be stopped. If you have not done so already, it is also a good time to check and update your activity test if your circumstances have changed.
The easiest way to update your family income estimate is by using your Centrelink online account through myGov, or the Express Plus Centrelink app. While you are there, do not forget to make sure your and your partner’s activity details are up to date too.
