On Tuesday and Wednesday, March 23rd and 24th the Year 7 and Year 9 Challenge Program students participated in Critical Thinking Days. These days were held in the style of the Da Vinci Decathalon, an Interschool Competition to be held next term. The students were involved in a number of challenges across multiple disciplines. They had to collaborate to solve problems in Mathematics, Code breaking and Engineering as well as using creative skills to produce works of poetry, art and drama. The students worked well together, using their creative and critical thinking skills and having a lot of fun at the same time! They were aptly awarded with some edible prizes for their efforts in each round! We look forward to sending a teams to the competition in May.
