Homepage News/Calendar The Ignatian Newsletter Year 5 Arrupe Outreach Program Article information Time 16 Aug 2023 We are thrilled to highlight the inspiring efforts of our Year 5 students in their dedicated Arrupe Project fundraising. This year, our students chose to raise money for The Hutt St Centre, where people facing homelessness are empowered to rebuild their lives. Our young change-makers have taken on the project with boundless enthusiasm and a strong sense of community. From selling delectable treats and refreshing beverages at local community events, to volunteering in the local community, donating to second-hand bookstores, and getting muddy in the garden. Their commitment has been nothing short of exceptional. On Sunday 13th of August, four students set up a vibrant stall at the Gillies at the Grounds Markets, hosted at the Adelaide Showgrounds. In the midst of the bustling market atmosphere, our Year 5 students sold books, bracelets, temporary tattoos and even busked for change. As we celebrate their outstanding fundraising achievements, we are reminded that even the smallest actions can make a significant impact on the lives of those in need.
