Our Year three students have been learning about the traditional ways in which the Chinese herald the new year. To help them better connect with and comprehend the topic, we arranged for a professional dragon dancer to come and visit. During his visit, the dancer explained the significance of the dragon dance in Chinese culture, particularly during the Spring Festival celebration. He also shared an entertaining story about Chinese zodiac signs. The students enjoyed performing the dragon dance and learning traditional Chinese Dance moves.
