Homepage News/Calendar The Ignatian Newsletter Year 10 Indonesian Article information Time 21 Sep 2023 Earlier this term, students of Year 10 Indonesian completed a unit of study on food and restaurants in Indonesia. As is the case in Australia, food in Indonesia is usually a central component of family and social celebrations, bringing people together in a convivial setting. The class concluded the unit with a visit to the Warong restaurant in Parkside, where they were able to put into practice the language learnt to order a meal and describe food and drinks, and enjoy delicious authentic Indonesian cuisine.
