This term, several Year 7 Art and Design classes participated in the exploration of the Elements and Principals of Art as inspired by contemporary artist, Helen Musselwhite. Using bold colour, strong graphic line, and a distinctive hand-crafted quality, Musselwhite creates highly individual and visually appealing artworks. With a focus on shape, colour, pattern, and the implementation of rendering techniques, the Year 7’s developed an aesthetically pleasing work of art reminiscent of Musselwhite’s whimsical qualities.
