Saint Ignatius’ College would like to acknowledge and congratulate Year 4 student Sam Turner for his outstanding efforts at the State Athletics Championships at the SA Athletics Stadium over the weekend. Sam was awarded the Silver medal in the Under 10 division of the Pentathlon event which backed up his Gold medal from Under 9s in 2022.

Some highlights from Sam’s pentathlon include;

Sam winning the 800m heat
Sam recording a personal best Long Jump of 4 metres, surpassing his previous best by 30cm.

Saint Ignatius’ College are incredibly proud of your achievements, Sam. Well done!
