On Wednesday, September 6th, a group of Year 9 students visited the Adelaide Science Exchange in Pirie Street where they put their STEM skills to the test, making soap and learning about applied chemistry. They then proceeded to Adelaide University where they participated in a flood plain simulation activity and controlled rovers in a means to investigate the Moon. This ‘hands on’ day provided a great opportunity for students to exercise their STEM skills in real world situations.
