Rise Up! World Catholic Youth Day

Our Care For Country group comprised of students from Years 9-11 participated in the ‘Rise Up’ event for World Catholic Youth Day. This event calls on young people to Rise Up and take ecological action alongside other schools and students.

Together with over 100 other students from Catholic schools across Adelaide, students planted 1500 trees in Victoria Park along Fullarton Road. After the event they spent time reflecting on the impact we have on the environment and the ways our community could better care for our common home. Our students are looking forward to sharing their ideas with the community soon.
