Kyle Chalmers Surprises Ignatius Swimmers

On Thursday, our Junior School swimmers were surprised with a visit from Olympic gold medalist and world record holder Kyle Chalmers to inspire them ahead of their swimming meets.

Kyle spoke to our swimmers about his journey to becoming one of the world's greatest athletes, starting his training at a similar age to them and competing in the same swimming competitions they are currently competing. Our students had the chance to ask Kyle a few questions of their own and were motivated hearing of the hard work and dedication which has led Kyle to win gold at the Olympics. Our swimmers also had the opportunity to see some of Kyle's gold medals up close.
