Junior School SALA Art Exhibition

I am blessed to be in a position that allows me to watch our students spark their inner fire in the art room and am excited to be able to share the fruits of our work with the broader public.

In Adelaide, the month of August sees the annual SALA Festival brighten its walls. The South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival is a statewide festival of visual art. It aims to promote the work of visual artists of any level and see the potential of any space to become a gallery. Coffee shops, restaurants, schools, wineries, and office buildings register their exhibitions, and a magazine is produced to direct art lovers all over the state to these colourful corners.

The growth and learning in the Visual Arts must be witnessed to be believed, and I love the opportunity to share the fruits of this process with the wider community. Our exhibition is now closed however you can enjoy our virtual gallery by visiting the link HERE.

“He who works with his hands is a labourer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist”.

~ St Francis of Assisi
