Holy Week at the Junior School

On Friday, the 31st of March, our Year 5 and 6 students attended an Easter Sights and Sound, interactive Community theatre performance.

The performance incorporated drama, music, media, and visual arts. Students followed the path of Jesus and his disciples in the week leading up to Easter and discovered why millions of people celebrate Easter nearly 2000 later.

To commemorate the passion of Jesus, Year 6 Red students lead the Junior School Community through 5 Holy Week communal prayer services reflecting on the journey Jesus made to the cross.

Easter Prayer

God of Easter hope,
help us to be signs of new life
to one another,
to our families,
to our community.
We make this prayer in the name of the risen Jesus Christ.
