In Weeks 8 and 9 at the Junior School, students in Years 3 – 6 were involved in health ‘missions’ run by Richard Rowland from FYI Drug and Health Education. Richard has a wonderful and entertaining way of imparting important health information using new and exciting interactive technology. Each class entered a ‘Top Secret’ inflatable classroom that transported them to a place where they became ‘Junior Secret Agents’. Topics covered in the missions included ‘Spy Doctor’ (Year 3), ‘Inner Spy’ (Year 4), ‘Sugar the Perfect Poison’ (Year 5) and ‘Drugs and Alcohol’ (Year 6).

As we approach the end of a busy Term 3, hopefully the health and wellbeing ‘missions’ and The Resilience Project lessons that the students have been involved in has provided them with many strategies and learnings to assist them in the years to come.
