On July 31 we celebrate the Feast of Saint Ignatius, the founder of the Jesuits. This year is a special occasion as we conclude the Ignatian Year, which ran from May 2021 commemorating the 500th anniversary of his conversion and including the 400th anniversary of his Canonisation in March 2022. Ignatius of Loyola is one of the most influential figures in the Catholic Church. A mystic and a master of the practical, his Spiritual Exercises and Constitutions have helped many to “find God in all things” and act “for the greater glory of God.” Best wishes from all at Saint Ignatius' College Adelaide to all our Jesuit friends and our companions in mission across the world.
