This week we introduce our community to Committee member Megan Carter

Full Name
Megan Carter

What is your P&F position?
Secretary

What year(s) are your child(ren) in?
Year 1 (Madeline and Nicholas) and IEY (Hugh)

What keeps you busy (work, stay at home parent etc)?
I am a Employment/Industrial Relations lawyer and spend one day a week hanging out with my 3 year old (playgrounds, buses and construction sites usually feature).

Why did you choose Saint Ignatius' College as your child’s school?
As well as being conveniently local and having a family history of Jesuit education, the ‘whole person’ approach really appealed to us. We also had many positive reports from current school community members about the IEY and positive experiences of the transition to Junior School.

Why did you join the P&F?
As we started our Saint Ignatius journey at IEY, I was keen to build connections with families in other parts of the school and to find a way I could contribute to the community that we hope to be part of for many years.

What do you enjoy about the P&F?
The amazing enthusiasm and ideas of other members, which inspires me to do more.

What is your favourite P&F activity and why?
So far, it’s been the Family Fun Fair but I’m really keen to get to Colour Run this year. We haven’t been able to go before but I’ve heard such great things!
