What year(s) are your child(ren) in?
Year 9 and Year 12

What keeps you busy (work, stay at home parent etc)?
Work, home business too, kids activities! Always on the go, no dull moments!

Why did you choose Saint Ignatius' College as your child’s school?
Only school I was ever interested in, mostly the ethos, Jesuit education. Other big plus is location, nature and big grounds ...

Why did you join the P&F?
Can't imagine not being involved. It's so good for the kids to have parents involved, great way to meet other like-minded parents.

What do you enjoy about the P&F?
Knowing what's upcoming, having a chance to add thoughts and ideas. Friendships. Getting involved in fun fund-raising activities.

What is your favourite P&F activity and why?
Gala Day, lots to get involved in, good chance to have a sort through gift cupboard and donate! Also the meetings to find out what's ahead and help plan.

What is your P&F position?
Vice President (Senior School)

What year(s) are your child(ren) in?
Chloe Year 7 and Stephanie Year 6

What keeps you busy (work, stay at home parent etc)?
I work at Monarto Safari Park in customer service and volunteer as a guide at the Adelaide Zoo.

Why did you choose Saint Ignatius' College as your child’s school?
I was an old scholar and have always liked the culture based on the Ignatian ethos, especially the emphasis of the importance of being the best person you can, in academics, sport, gratitude , faith and social justice. I want my children to reach their potential in all these and so chose Saint Ignatius' College.

Why did you join the P&F?
I joined the P&F to help in connecting Ignatian families together. I had been a parent rep and thought I could help more by volunteering for events and help organise the myriad of events the P&F committee run.

What do you enjoy about the P&F?
I enjoy the P&F because it’s an opportunity to be more involved in the College community. Getting to know parents from other year levels and staff has been great!

What is your favourite P&F activity and why?
Family Fun Fair because it’s an occasion that involves the whole school community.
