Homepage News/Calendar The Ignatian Newsletter From the Head of Senior School Article information Time 16 Oct 2023 With Ms Watkins, Mrs Brooks, and Father Hosking, we welcome you all to Term 4. In these weeks, the Year 12s are completing their time at the College. The Year 12 students met individually with their Mentor teachers at the end of Term 3 to reflect on their journey at Saint Ignatius' College. Most shared positively about their time at Saint Ignatius and how service to the community has formed their hearts forever. As we farewell our Year 12s next week, we are proud of their personal achievements and excited about how they will lead and shape our future. On Thursday seventeen Year 10 students and five staff returned from an immersion visiting the Nauyui community and St Francis Xavier Catholic School in Daly River, NT. This experience has been described as … a true journey of the heart! I am deeply grateful for the leadership of Mr Chris Toome and James Lodge, together with Danika Tremonte, Cathy Fleming, and Adam Grundy, in keeping us connected to our mission of service for others. On Friday this week, Mrs Lisa McDonald, the Vocational Services Coordinator, arranged a Mentors Breakfast where past Ignatians shared with our Year 12 students about experiences at university and on career pathways. We thank Mrs McDonald for arranging this special event in our calendar. We look forward to the Term 4 co-curricular sport program starting this weekend.
