The Saint Ignatius Patronal Feast Day Mass on Monday 31 July was a special occasion when the whole school community came together from early years, through Junior School, to Senior School. Our Year 12 students spent the day with students at the Junior School participating in a variety of classroom activities. Our senior students enjoyed the interactions, and we are grateful to the staff at the Junior School for making us welcome.

The feast day celebrates the life of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. Feast days in the Church are generally celebrated on the anniversary of the day the person died and entered Heaven. Rather than being a day of sadness, the Feast of Saint Ignatius is a special day when Jesuits and companions around the world celebrate his life and legacy. We are indeed fortunate to share this occasion as part of the global Jesuit community.

On Friday we enjoyed our House Performances in the Dennett Centre. The House Captains and Senior Leaders led the students as they prepared and presented their House interpretation of the theme to the Senior School community.
