In the final week of Term 3, students from all year levels and House groups participated in the annual Bells of La Storta, with Xavier House winning the race. Athletes competed well at the Achilles Cup, and the Year 11 students attended the Street Smart High (Driver Education), Adelaide Entertainment Centre. Port Power Captain, Tom Jonas, was our guest speaker at our annual Senior Sports Awards presentation, with some 200 students receiving awards in a variety of sports throughout the evening.

Staff, students, and families participated in our Unity Walk on Friday morning before school in memory of those who have lost their battle with cancer. On Friday students and some staff had their hair cut by stylists. Donated ponytails will go to Variety Children’s Charity to make wigs for patients who have lost their hair as a result of cancer treatment. The student-led ‘Hair with Heart’ campaign was in support of Variety and the Childhood Cancer Association and raised great funds.

Thank you to all staff, students, and families in ensuring the success of these truly valuable experiences for our students.

I wish all students and families a well-deserved holiday break!
