Homepage News/Calendar The Ignatian Newsletter From the Head of Senior School Article information Time 29 May 2023 During the week we have several lunchtime activities for the students and staff, including Rock Art Painting, and cooking damper and fish with Uncle Ivan. We are most grateful to Mrs Coxhill, our Aboriginal Education Coordinator, for all her work in organising activities during National Reconciliation Week. During the indigenous round, our sporting teams are wearing the indigenous guernsey designed by Anton Fallo and Uncle Neville. This Saturday 3 June, on the Bourke Oval, Kaurna Elder Ivan Copley will conduct a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony before the First XVIII match against St Michael’s College. At our Pentecost mass, we were reminded that, like the disciples at Pentecost, we are never alone – the Holy Spirit is always with us, transforming and empowering us again and again through the people who care for us and walk with us, always calling us into mission. The Holy Spirit works within us, opening our hearts to others during this time of reconciliation with our indigenous peoples, with all people, with creation, and with our God.
