Homepage News/Calendar The Ignatian Newsletter From the Head of Senior School Article information Time 24 Mar 2023 After the Easter break, we return for the final week of Term 1. We recognise the effort that our students have put into their academic and co-curricular endeavours. It has been wonderful to visit our teams representing the College as part of the sport program. We thank those coaches and teachers-in-charge who have planned thoroughly and worked hard to make this an enjoyable season for our students and their families. Our talented music students attended the Music Camp in the Peter Faber Building, the Kranewitter Hall, and the Flynn Theatre this week. Many of the ensembles begin their preparation for the music festivals and events in the coming months. My thanks go to the staff who supported this initiative. On Holy Thursday we celebrated Holy Thursday Liturgy in the Dennett Centre as a Senior School. We remembered the Last Supper where Jesus shared a final meal with His apostles and washed the feet of the twelve as a symbol of His humility and servanthood. Jesus was subsequently arrested, tried, and then crucified at Calvary on Friday, outside the gates of Jerusalem. He arose on Easter Sunday for the forgiveness of our sins. A very Happy Easter to you all. Phil DonatoHead of Senior School Previous School Holiday Office Closures Next Upcoming Dates - Senior School
