Reflecting on Term 1, there is much we are thankful for within our own community. With all events and co-curricular activities in full swing, it has been a very busy and successful term. The introduction of the three-way conversations proved a great opportunity to meet and share expectations for the beginning of the year. The new parent framework was well received, with parents attending the Language of Friendship, Parent iPad, and Maths Pathway forums.

It was fantastic to see so many members of our community enjoying being a part of the College’s Athletics Carnival at Athelstone and the Junior Primary Sports Day at Norwood. The Year 5 Camp was a huge hit, with many of our students thriving in independence and self-confidence while immersed in outdoor adventures. I personally think the College Fair was one of the best I have attended. We are so grateful for all in the P&F, the volunteers, and the helpers who made that day possible. There is nothing better than community coming together in the joy and appreciation of good friends and company.

From all the staff at the Junior School, we would like to thank you for your continued support and engagement over what has been a term full of opportunity for rich learning and engagement. We wish you a safe and enjoyable holiday break and look forward to seeing you all back on the first day of school for Term 2, Tuesday 2 May.
