SATAC Parent Information night, Tuesday August 15.

The College will run a Year 12 parent SATAC information evening for parents who would like to know more about the process in order to support their student’s applications. This event will be on Tuesday 15 August, 6.30pm in the Bellarmine Room.

Students do not need to attend. The same information will be presented to students in an assembly at school.

SATAC application open in August and to avoid a late fee students should register and pay by September 29. However, there will be a great deal of support and advice provided at the College.

  • SATAC opens August 7.
  • Closes September 29 to avoid a late fee. Medicine (and other courses with hard deadlines) closes.

Girls only try a trade day and Certificate III Electrotechnology

St Mary’s College, Adelaide, will host a Girls VET class for the Certificate II in Electrotechnology in 2024. The Cert II will be delivered by PEER, onsite at St Mary’s College after school, with some school holiday intensive days at PEER. The Certificate II is a Flexible Industry Pathways VET course.

To provide girls with the opportunity to explore what a VET course in this career area might be like, and to provide VETRO evidence, a one-day Girls Electrotechnology & Engineering Day will be held at PEER on Monday 21 August 2023.

Enrolments for both the Girls Electrotechnology & Engineering One Day Immersion and the Certificate II in Electrotechnology are limited. Enrolments will be taken on a first in basis (subject to a successful VETRO process for the funded Cert II).

SA Dental Traineeships

SA Dental is the public health provider of oral health services to children and eligible adults across South Australia. For over 15 years we have provided Dental Assistant Traineeship opportunities to hundreds of young South Australians. These traineeships play a major role in developing quality Dental Assistants for the future oral health workforce.

SA Dental is soon to commence recruiting (28 July – 20 August) for an intake of trainees starting in January 2024. Approximately 30 Dental Assistant Traineeship positions across the state are on offer. These opportunities are aimed primarily at the 17 - 24 year age group.
