On Friday 13 May, the Years 10 and 11 French students attended the French Film Festival at the Palace Nova cinemas on Rundle Street in the city, where they viewed the film entitled L’aventure des Marguerite. We were fortunate enough to have the entire cinema to ourselves! The students were immersed in the French language and culture and thoroughly enjoyed the movie about two young girls who swapped eras. Margot, who was living in 2019, experienced life in the 1940s during the Second World War, whilst Marguerite, who was living in 1942, lived life in 2019. It was quite entertaining. The Stage 2 French students will now dissect this movie as part of their study of French cinema this term.
