European Cultural Tour 2024

The College is offering the students at Saint Ignatius’ College, the opportunity to participate in the 2024 European Cultural Tour, which is open to students interested in experiencing European history and culture. Students who will be entering Years 10 and 11 in 2024 will be eligible to nominate for the tour.

Mr Rocco D’Onofrio, Languages teacher, will be leading the twelfth European Tour. All previous tours have proved to be most successful and a rewarding experience for the participants. We believe that the tour will be of considerable benefit, linguistically, culturally, and historically and for general educational and personal development.

The tour commences in Rome and then on to Berlin, Amiens, and Paris, visiting the World War I battle sites where the Australian Diggers fought in the Battle of the Somme.

There will be a parent information evening at the College in the Bellarmine Room at 7.00pm on Monday 7th August 2023.
