On Tuesday, 27 June, the Year 4 students participated in a day of reflection held in the St Ignatius Norwood Church and parish hall. The day allowed students to ponder and reflect on the relationships between personal experience, self-identity, and religious understanding with the invitation to respond freely to God in faith and prayer.

Guided by our school Chaplain, Fr Gaetan Pereira, students explored the Saint Ignatius Norwood Church to discover the meanings and symbols of the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Communion. The day's activities provided time to reflect, pray, think creatively, and express their artistic skills in designing candles and decorating their 3D-printed crosses.

The day of reflection concluded with the Sacrament of Reconciliation led by Fr Peter Hosking, College Rector, Fr Chris Jenkins, Parish Priest, and Fr Gaetan Pereira, School Chaplain.

We pray for the sacramental candidates receiving their First Holy Communion and Confirmation early next term.
