Employment Opportunities

St Francis Xavier Catholic School

  • Are you a teacher?
  • Looking for the opportunity of a lifetime?
  • Looking to make a difference?
  • Keen to develop your understanding of Aboriginal people and culture?

This opportunity is for you!

St Francis Xavier Catholic School, Daly River NT is looking for a R-1 Teacher to commence ASAP.

Nauiyu lies on the banks of the Daly River, arguably Australia's best Barramundi fishing river, a two-and-a-half hour drive on a sealed road from Darwin. The community is home to about 400 residents and is spectacular.

The school is extremely well led and resourced. Class sizes are small, under 10, and you are supported by local Assistant Teachers. St Francis Xavier will cover relocation costs and provide a fully furnished residence (rent free).

Culture plays an important role in the school with 2021 Ignatian Formation guest speaker, Miriam-Rose Ungunmerr-Baumann, playing a significant role. Miriam is keen to develop the relationship with Saint Ignatius' College so the successful applicant will be warmly welcomed, well supported and privy to cultural experiences and information not available to outsiders.

Celebrate International Women's Day - Campbelltown City Council

Celebrating International Women's Day 2022 with the presentation of the 2022 Women of Campbelltown and Fringe Show 'Unsung'!

This year will see the presentation of the 2022 Women of Campbelltown, and the announcement of the 2023 Women of Campbelltown.

We are also excited to present the Show 'Unsung'. Join award-winning cabaret powerhouses Amelia Ryan and Libby O’Donovan, in a rollicking, raucous celebration of songs and stories from 1960s Australia. Hear the likes of Lynne Randell, Little Patti, Judy Stone, Marcie Jones, Margret Roadknight, Wendy Saddington, and Alison McCallum, in an uplifting and nostalgic hour that pays homage to the women who blazed the trails for generations to come. Through history, heart, and hilarity, they bring these incredible women - and their music - into their rightful place in Aussie music history!

To enable us to bring this exciting event to you in a COVID safe way we are charging a nominal fee of $12 per person. Includes drinks and nibbles before the Event.

There will be a raffle on the night to raise money for a local charity.

Guests are also invited to bring along sanitary or personal care items which will be donated to our local Domestic Violence service who do a wonderful job supporting women and children in need during this time
