On the opening day of the summer season, three Ignatius athletes took to the Salisbury track to put their winter training to the test. Evan Di Iulio ran superbly in the 100m hurdles to record a time of 15.98 in her heat which is a great start for the season. She followed up with a 10.02m Triple Jump and a 13.61sec 100m. Tehan Appahumilage Don ran a very quick 12.96 in his 100m. Isabelle Cherry made her debut in the Triple Jump with 8.90m and 15.20sec in the 100m. She won her age group Discus with a great performance of 27.61m. Congratulations also to Isabelle’s dad, Mike Cherry, who also won his age group Discus with a throw of 34.40m.
