Lily Whiteman and Isabelle Cherry represented Ignatius in the Interclub competition at Mile End on Friday night. Both athletes competed strongly in a big field, with Lily jumping 10.75m in the Triple Jump and Isabelle recording 9.37m. Isabelle managed to throw the same distance in the Shot Put taking out the U14 category. Both athletes performed well in their sprints with Isabelle recording a 31.06 in the 200m and Lily coming home with a 8.89 in the 60m.

Tehan Arachichi Appuhamilage Don also competed in this Interclub meet. He ran a fast 26.85 in the 200m and 8.35 in the 60m.

All three of these athletes are in fine form coming into the interschool season this term. Congratulations and thank you also to the Ignatian athletes who volunteered to help at the Adelaide International on Saturday night.
