Senior Ensemble Auditions

Sheet music for the audition set-pieces is now available for collection from the Music Office.

Please have your name recorded as you collect your music.

Auditions for Senior Vocal Ensemble, Arrupe Vocal Ensemble, Senior Stage Band and Bellarmine Stage Band 2023 will be held in Week 5 of this term.

Generations in Jazz

Generations in Jazz is being held again next year. We will be attending with a change to how we do things.

Next year we will only be taking Senior Stage Band and Senior Vocal Ensemble.

The organisation will be capping numbers for schools quite significantly. We are also looking to ensure that we present strong ensembles with members who have worked hard to get themselves to their positions. I strongly recommend students practice well in preparation for auditions.

Yorke Peninsula Tour 2023

We will be embarking on a tour of the Yorke Peninsula at the end of 2023. This tour will be based in Maitland where we will partner up with Maitland Lutheran School but will also take in other spots across the peninsula and work with schools involved in the Yorke Peninsula Schools Band and Choir.

This tour will be held from Wednesday the 29th of November until Friday the 1st of December 2023 and we will be travelling by coach.

Students in Years 7-12 in 2023 who are involved in one or more Co-curricular Music ensembles are eligible to attend this tour.

Further details, including cost, will be available soon, however families should email Mr Dohse (a.dohse@ignatius.sa.edu.au) with an expression of interest to take part in this tour so that we can begin gathering approximate numbers.
