Through their recent dedicated fundraising efforts for the Arrupe Outreach project, our Year 5s at the Junior School managed to raise nearly $5000. This remarkable achievement is a testament to their commitment to making a positive and lasting impact in our wider community. The Year 5s chose to raise the funds to go towards the Hutt Street Centre, an organisation committed to helping those experiencing homelessness. Last Friday, Jacinta from the Hutt Street Centre visited our Junior School, to share how our contributions will directly support individuals in need. The money will be used to provide essential services such as meals, hot showers, and other comforts to those who require assistance. We are incredibly proud of our students' compassion and their commitment to making the world a better place. This is a shining example of the power of unity and empathy within our school community.
