Our Learning and Teaching Framework
The Saint Ignatius’ College Learning and Teaching Framework espouses the strategic priority of ‘human excellence’ outlined in the College’s Strategic Plan. The framework describes what an Ignatian seeks to be; an individual who is equipped with a combination of intellectual and human competencies imbued with Ignatian virtues, to prepare them to make a significant contribution to their world. The framework also articulates what we desire learning to look like in the College; one that see’s learning as an ongoing process, a cycle of experience, reflection, and action. Most importantly, learning is always student centred, where all our students are known, loved and affirmed, reflected through our wellbeing pillars. A student’s wellbeing and their ability to learn go hand in hand, therefore ensuring that cura-personalis (care for the individual) is at the heart of all that we do.
