The Saint Ignatius' College Foundation Inc. was established in 1988 by a group of parents and Old Ignatians. For almost 30 years the Foundation has been strongly supported by the College community, and the rewards of this generosity have seen developments at both campuses. These include the Holy Family Building and Ignatius Early Years, the Senior School Chapel, Saint Edmund Campion Building (Library and Year 12 Centre), the Saint Peter Faber SJ Building (Music, Drama, and the Richard Flynn Theatre), and the Caroline Chisholm Building. In addition, the establishment of the Ignatian Bursary Fund has been made possible by our ethos to look beyond and to assist those who need our input.
Whilst the focus is on the journey of our students and the education of the whole person, our connection is much broader and we each have our own journey as a parent, sibling, grandparent, carer, Old Ignatian, and friend. We all have been or are donors of time and energy, and have an investment in the College, so are well placed to understand the importance of giving in order to ensure the progression and growth of the Ignatian community in all that it encompasses.
Today the College is a vibrant and welcoming community that educates and enriches the lives of children every day. The generous support of past and present donors has contributed to the unique encounters experienced by the students across all years, under the guidance of the Jesuit ethos and pursuit of educational excellence. These influences are enduring ones well beyond students’ school years.
The College needs your support to develop facilities and support disadvantaged students.
Please assist the Foundation by supporting the education of current and future Ignatian students. All gifts, no matter the amount, are welcome and are fully tax deductible. To discuss making a tax deductible contribution, or leaving a bequest to Saint Ignatius’ College, please contact our Advancement Manager, Mrs Belinda Mears, on 8334 9356, or email firstname.lastname@example.org
