The STIGIT Homegroup members help out Adelaide Oval

Feb 17, 2014

On Thursday the 13 February, the College activity known as STIGIT (SainT IGnatius' Information Technology) were invited to Adelaide Oval to help setup and present an episode of the Homegroup from the brand new Channel 9 media studio. The purpose of the visit was to help consult with the Adelaide Oval management to setup a simulated broadcast as an activity for their school tours. The eight students that were involved represented the College in a professional manner and ran a filming demonstration of a Homegroup episode for the College. The group filmed for just over an hour and gave some useful feedback to the Adelaide Oval management with some useful ideas and tips for broadcasting.

If the initiative for this new activity is successful, then the STIGIT Homegroup members will be invited back to the public launch of the new tour format and help with the setup of the course.

Well done to all the students involved and we hope the initiative is successful so that we can head back for the official launch.

A catholic, co-educational school conducted by the Jesuits.
